nekyia (from the ancient greek) — the rite of descent.
ours is an intimate one. shaped in the women who gather, so each one meets the death, and the rebirth, that is hers. togather we explore, experience, and inbody both death and life.
across the two days there is movement and stillness, ceremony and ritual, woods and candlelit rooms. we build an ofrenda for our beloved dead ones and tend it through the days. drum, music, teachings, silence, expression, sharing circle and one-to-one care throughout.

Do I need ANY EXPERIENCE?
No. You only need the willingness to go down and be held. We'll meet you where you are.
Are the sessions recorded?
No. This is an in-person journey, in the circle. Nothing is recorded — what happens here stays here, held in the circle.
What if I'm in deep grief right now?
That is perfect. nekyia is here for you. You won't be alone with it — you'll be held, in the circle and one-to-one, through every part of the descent.
Is everything shared?
Only what you choose. This is a confidential container, and your participation in each practice is always yours to say yes to.
